My name is Carol Chang. I was born in Birmingham, England where I lived until I was seven years old. We moved to Hartford, Connecticut where I lived until I graduated high school. After high school I attended Howard University in Washington, DC where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in special education. After graduating from Howard University, I started teaching in Calvert County, Maryland where I taught for seventeen years and was a school counselor for three years. While working as a teacher, I earned my Master's of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Bowie State University in Maryland. In 2011, I moved to Houston, TX. I started working for Alief ISD as a third grade self-contained teacher. I am now the school counselor at Alexander, I love my job, the kids keep me young.
