School Media - Yearbook, Newspaper, and Photos
About Kerr Student Media:
Kerr Student Media includes Kerronicle Newspaper, Kerronicle Online, Safari Yearbook, and KHS-TV Morning Announcements. All are the work of students in the journalism and technology programs at Kerr High School. Students select and produce content and market publications.
School photos, senior photos and graduation photos are produced by Marc Nathan Photography. Herndon Panoramics makes the senior panoramic photo. Prints can be ordered following the links at right.
Kerronicle Newspaper is a print news magazine produced 5 times per school year. Three issues -- in October, January and March -- are mailed home to all parents and include a special "parent pages" section with honor roll, perfect attendance, and Title I information. It is online at kerronicle.com.
Kerronicle.com is an online companion to the print newspaper that includes expanded content and frequent short news updates.
Safari Yearbook is a 144-page record of the school year, with stories, photos and designs produced entirely by the yearbook and newspaper staffs. Books are priced from $50 to $75, depending on when they are purchased. They can be ordered online through Balfour.com or on campus with cash or check. Customization options include protective covers, name plates, and special personalized icons. Parents can also purchase personal ads in the yearbook to recognize their students.
KHS-TV is the morning announcements program that runs three days a week on campus. It includes club and event announcements, advertisements from on-campus organizations, birthdays and other information for students.
